Memories come from those special moments or events that stay with us, some good, some bad, some stay vivid and some fade.
This Saturday we will recall a vivid memory for many Americans; at 0750 hours, December 7, 1941, “A date which will live in infamy” said by President Franklin D. Roosevelt in his Day of Infamy speech on December 8, 1941.
Why do we keep remembering this day when so many of our citizens died so violently? We do so because we never want this to ever happen again and, because we need to honor the memory of those who paid the ultimate price defending the greatest country on earth, the United States.
Let us always remember those who have fought for America; past, present and future…
